Dear Lost,
All is forgiven. See how easy that was? Just a few answers--you haven't lost your mystique, but rekindled my passion! Doesn't it feel good to advance the plot, just a little? And you were so afraid. There's a good little drama. We'll just forget the third season ever happened, and maybe we can have our happily ever after, after all.
Yours,
Kenny

SO...I take it you enjoyed Thursday's new episode...was it the science part you enjoyed? We have yet to rent the third season...should we not and say we did? Love the letter.

What I liked...
...was mostly that there appears to be a story unfolding. What I loved so much aboutHeroes was that it created mystery by answering questions instead of leading the viewer on a wild goose-chase. The most recent episode of Lost answered a suspicion I've had since season one, holding my interest but deepening the mystery and advancing the conflict.
Season 3 had a few key moments--especially in the final two episodes or so--but a lot of the episodes were either irrelevant or just re-covered old ground from Season 1 or 2. I really liked Dr. Farraday in Thursday's episode, and Mr. Hume is always a good character. But as for Season 3, I get the overwhelming impression that, at worst, skipping the entire season might cause you to experience minor confusion when we see some recurring characters later in the series.
